A new, exciting phase for a long established business

RecyCoal is a new and exciting phase for a long established business with over thirty years' experience recovering coal by processing mine waste.

RecyCoal was formed in July 2010 when the business was acquired from ATH Resources plc in a £6.5m management buy-out.

The business is owned by the management team and Naxos Capital Partners SA ("Naxos"), a Luxembourg-based investment fund. www.naxos-capital.com

Naxos has committed £40 million to the development of RecyCoal in the UK and other targeted markets in Poland and Australia.





History of the business

1970's Business formed as A Ogden and Sons Ltd commencing coal processing operations

1998 onwards Significant technological development of the process improving efficiency and environmental sustainability to create the unique Dual Density Natural Medium system

2006 A Ogden and Sons Ltd acquired by ATH Resources plc and renamed ATH Regeneration Ltd

July 2010 RecyCoal created following a management buy-out of the business
